Gasoline-roll-back crisis in Cagayan de Oro City
One of the biggest problems that the cagay – anons are facing is the high price of the gasoline. If the price of the gasoline will increase everything will follow without prior notice to the public. Cagay – anons are suffering from this trend of increasing the market price and fare from the public transportation. The sad thing about it is that people are the ones who are suffering from this price increase crisis while the salary of cagay – anon employees are still the same with no increase but more deductions from their employers.
Can the government do something about this matter? Can they make a negotiation from the fuel suppliers to subsidize the selling price to the public? Many are suffering this time, I thought that Cagayan de Oro City is known to be the melting pot of Mindanao but what’s happening now? We became more bound to debts and loans everywhere with big interest just to survive the cruelty of price increase phenomena.
How can cagay – anons rise from the oppression of this constant fuel price increase? Can we still fight and survive? Many cases in Cagayan de Oro City that lead to a fight just because of the roll back fuel price, drivers of public vehicles are so attentive when they hear a news about oil price increase but when the report said that there will be roll back they simply ignore it and continue asking for the high fare. Where is justice here? Our local government should notice this and make a solution for this. Many people would do bad things in order to survive, in order to put food on their table and to live and enjoy life. But what happened? They keep on ignoring these things because the mere fact is that they don’t experience the things that the cagay – anons or the public experience.
I pity them for they were put into that position but they are useless. I think the Philippine government’s system should be changed becasue the Filipinos deserve to live a bountiful life for our country is rich in natural resources and full of vibrant people.
