Oro to host “Pasundayag Northern Mindanao” 2007
Cagayan de Oro City will play host to the Pasundayag Northern Mindanao this year, dubbed as “Wellness Tourism and Cultural Expo 2007” spearheaded by the Department of Tourism (DOT)-10 on December 7 to 9, 2007 at The Atrium, Limketkai Center, this city.
The activity aims to promote a new way to experience tourism in the Northern Mindanao region through personal health care; eating healthy food; herbal, therapeutic and natural medicines.
The Wellness Tourism and Cultural Expo 2007 hopes to heighten the tourists’ awareness and appreciation of tourist destinations and attractions in the region without destroying Mother Nature.
The activities lined-up for the two-day event includes: Training on Eco-Tourism in Protected Areas and Business Planning; Seminar on Alternative Medicines and Healthy Foods; natural healing; therapeutic demonstrations; craft demonstrations and cultural performances, among others.
